If you need a quiet, relaxing escape, the location of the cottage is fantastic. The empty beach is 2 minutes walk around the corner and Snowdonia is only 25 minutes drive if that. Within 30 minutes drive there is a lot to see and do. The cottage is a little small but is also dog friendly. We took our 2 Rotweillers and they loved it. The ceiling was a bit low and as I'm 6' 2" I bumped my head a few times ! This is not a complaint just a mention. This was our 2nd visit but it won't be our last.
